“There’s a lot of people walking around with his jersey on, just not as big as his,” Veronica Jackson said at Cal’s Bakery.
Glenn Dorsey enjoys the Jambalaya Festival and he considers it as his hometown’s charm. The Jambalaya Festival features a contest that attracts more than 100 cooks. Glenn Dorsey most recently served as a grand marshal in the holiday parade. The crowd waits for him.
“They’ll be waiting on him when he comes home,” said Dorsey’s grandmother, Pearl Nabor, through a phone interview. “I mean, he just has people following him around. And he loves them.”
According to Glenn Dorsey, Gonzales is small and kids from there who watch TV, used to think that they got to be from somewhere big to have a dream. “I just try to tell them to dream big no matter what ...”
Glenn Dorsey once also lived a simple life like these kids who want to dream big. Dreams do come true for Glenn Dorsey who was privileged to be a part of the BCS National Championship game.
