Atlanta, recognized as the city too busy to hate or "The Phoenix City", is the biggest in the state of Georgia, with a population of slightly above four hundred thousand residents. In 1864, at the peak of the Civil War, Atlanta was burned and almost annihilated. The city rebuilt following the war. Atlanta's economy is ambitious by the following industries; Manufacturing, Insurance, Communications, Retail Trade, Finance and the Convention and Trade Show Business. Atlanta is residence to the most famous soft drink bottling company in the world, Coca-Cola which was established in 1892 and several other major local and international firms e.g. United Parcel Service, Home Depot and BellSouth.
