The Forum Events 2015

The Forum Events Schedule For 2015

The Forum in Inglewood, also known as The Forum, presented by Chase, The Great Western Forum, the Fabulous Forum and the L.A. Forum, is a venue in Inglewood, CA. It was built in 1966 and is one of the older venues when compared to the Staples Center, Nokia Theatre, and other venues in L.A. When your flying in to LAX, you can easily see the Forum on the landscape. When it was The Great Western Forum, The Forum was considered to be as vital to the entertainment world as Madison Square Garden. The Forum was designed by Charles Luckman Associates, the famed businessman and architect who designed Madison Square Garden, the Prudential Tower in Boston, the McDonald Investment center in Cleveland, and many other major venues in the U.S. that were built in the late 50’s to the early 70’s.

The Forum opened to the tune of $16 million, which is about $116 million in 2015 and underwent an additional $76.5 million in 2013. Until the introduction of The Staples Center, The Forum was home from 1967 to 1999 to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings. Several other sports teams have called The Forum home briefly. Today the Forum serves for concerts and special events.

Sap Center events San Jose

SAP Center Events You Dont Want To Miss

The SAP Center at San Jose is affectionately referred to as The Shark Tank. The SAP Center is home to the San Jose Sharks, San Jose’s star NHL team. The indoor arena was originally called the San Jose Arena, then the Compaq Center, then the HP Pavilion and now the SAP Center at San Jose. The original San Jose Arena opened to the public in 1993. The story of the SAP Center is actually kind of cool! In the 1980’s, local San Jose citizens felt the city needed its own indoor venue, so they started a movement called FAN, or “Fund Arena Now”. They lobbied, pursued contracts with the city, and sought sponsors and partners with the NHL and NBA. Finally the mayor of San Jose, Tom McEnery, met with FAN and decided to apportion local taxes for the arena. Construction took place in 1991. It was delayed somewhat after the San Jose Sharks wanted to upgrade to NHL standards to include luxury suites, a press box, and a larger seating capacity.

Finally by 1993, it was ready to open. It was called the San Jose Arena from its opening until 2001. Then Compaq secured the naming rights in a twelve-year contract. But the following year HP bought Compaq, hence the arena changing its name to the HP Pavilion. HP also contributed to several upgrades for the venue, including a new LED video display from Daktronics. Then in 2013 the German software company SAP, which was co-founded by the San Jose Sharks managing partner Hasso Plattner and is SAP’s chairman of the board, bought the naming rights in a five-year, $3.35 million/year agreement. The SAP Center opened at a cost of $162.5 million at that time. Today that translates to $265 million. The architects of the vast arena were Sink Combs Dethlefs and Prodis Associates. The venue seats a variety of capacities, including 19,190 for concerts, 18,549 for basketball and the NBA and NCAA, 18,300 for wrestling and the WWE, 17,652 for ice hockey and the NHL, and 11,386 for tennis and the ATP and USTA.

Sap Center Events Suite SeatsThe SAP Center also offers Penthouse Lofts offer the small and intimate benefit of private suites, or fans can purchase two adjoining suites with their own connecting interior doors for larger groups. The Penthouse Loft seats 18-36 guests, they are fully furnished with HD Televisions, closets, and telephones, there is a full-service concierge staff and catering, wine, and beverages are all available to order. The Penthouse lofts are absolutely beautiful, elegant, and offer a different level of luxury to enjoy your SAP Center events including all games, concerts, special events, and more.

San Jose is a creative and beautiful city. In 2006, it held the record for most tickets to non-sporting events of any venue in the Western United States and held the fourth highest in the world, after Madison Square Garden, the Manchester Evening News Arena and the Air Canada Centre. The SAP Center events schedule also included lot of sporting events, including some notable events for the WWE, United States Figure Skating Championships, 47th NHL All-Star Game, NCAA Women’s Final Four, ArenaBowl XVII, USA Gymnastics Championships, and the UFC 139. As a world-record holding arena for it’s lineup, the 2015 SAP Center events schedule packed with great concert, sports and theatrical shows. In February, Aziz Ansari will be taking the stage as a part of his tour.

Here is a look at more SAP Center events! On Valentine’s Day, the will be hosting a Super Love Jam. Disney on Ice will be performing in February. Bob Seger will be taking the stage March 5 as a part of his tour. Chris Brown and Trey Songz are performing March 6 at the SAP Center of San Jose. Marvel Universe Live is scheduled toward the end of March, 2015 for three days straight. Some of the other upcoming SAP Center events are Maroon 5 will be performing March 31st at the SAP Center as a part of their world tour. The San Jose Sharks are playing their home games at the SAP Center for January through April. The Sabercats start their games at the SAP Center in April. Ariana Grande is performing April 12, 2015 at the SAP Center. Barry Manilow is performing April 18th on his very last tour ever with special guest Dave Koz. Neil Diamond is performing May 12, 2015 at the SAP Center of San Jose. U2 has been struggling in recent years to keep their concert dates due to injury and illness and this year one of the world’s greatest bands of all time will be taking the stage May 18 and 19 at the SAP Center of San Jose. Bette Midler will be performing May 26, 2015. And in July the Women’s Gymnastics Olympic Trials will be held at the SAP Center of San Jose. U2 New Album New Concert Tour 2014

U2 Concert Tour 2014

U2 Concert

After 12 albums and millions of fans, Irish rock band U2 remains to be a favorite among rock, alternative rock, and post-punk music fans. Band members The Edge (keyboards, guitar, and vocals), Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion), Bono (vocals and guitar), and Adam Clayton (bass guitar) remain to be popular figures among adoring fans all over the world. Since the band’s formation in 1976, U2 has been going strong and, if the rumors and speculations were true, they would even be releasing their 14th album next year.

U2’s 13th Album

This band from Dublin, Ireland is among the all-time best-selling music artists, having sold a whopping over 150 million records worldwide and having won 22 Grammy Awards, earning them a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With U2’s popularity and well-deserved fame, fans worldwide are all eager for another album (the last one, “No Line on the Horizon”, was released back in 2009 and topped The Billboard 200) and speculations of a new release have sparked excited chatter among fans and critics alike.

According to Billboard, U2 is getting ready for their 13th album, to be released, tentatively, on April 2014. To up the excitement, the big announcement is rumored to be made in a Super Bowl commercial. Nothing like Super Bowl to get everyone talking. After all, advertising time during an American Football much would cost around $3.8million dollars for half-a-minute of airtime. As far as everyone waiting for a new U2 album is concerned, this expense explains why the band members are looking for a brand partner to announce their latest album with.

More Rumors

After the chart-topping “No Line on the Horizon”, U2 is rumored to be preparing for a follow-up with no other than Coldplay’s Chris Martin. (Chris Martin was spotted exiting the band’s New York recording studio earlier this year. To follow a fan’s logic: Aside from a collaboration, what is there to think?)Coldplay will also be releasing a new album in may.
Behind the Big Announcement

Producer Danger Mouse (yes, the same person who worked with Gnarls Barkley, Broken Bells and 2004 Jay-Z/Beatles mash-up) has been helming the set. Recording is purportedly being done at New York’s Electric Lady Studios, with the band having been sighted there in May. Danger Mouse has been working with U2 since 2010 and the expectations are really high.

Reports also claim that Madonna manager Guy Oseary has been driving the brand partnerships for U2’s new album and has been reaching out to potential sponsors. Oseary has not made any comment to inquiries so far but everyone is hyped, especially amid reports that Live Nation is negotiating a deal in an attempt to buy the management companies behind U2 and Madonna.

The album is expected to be finished by the end of the year and will be a merge of all the bands previous musical styles, as hinted by bassist Adam in an interview with Irish radio station 98FM.

In the meantime, U2 has a 10-inch single to be released for Record Store Day “Back to Black Friday” which will feature “Breathe” and “Ordinary Love” from “No Line on the Horizon”.

U2 2015 Concert Tour

U2 is going to be going on a World Wide Concert Tour starting in 2014 and speculation is that although they could easily fill arenas that hold over 100,000 such as the Rose Bowl in Pasadena where they have sold out before they will be playing multiple nights at venues such as the Los Angeles U2 played the Staples Center, Untied Center in Chicago and Madison Square Garden in New York. As with the trend of a lot of acts now a days the Irish Rockers could offer multiple packages for their fans.

Updated 1/1/2015
(Just announced the band will play four U2 concerts at the Forum in Inglewood In May 2015! They will play The Forum May 26, 27, 30th and 31!

Here is a look at the U2 seating chart for the upcoming tour!
U2 Concert Seating Chart

How To Get U2 Tickets at Face Value

While everyone knows that U2 Tickets as well as most tickets go on sale through ticketmaster, livenation or AXIS but did you know that one of the best ways for your chance to get U2 Tickets at face value is from the band itself? Yes the official U2 website U2.com offers news, videos, merchandise and more but it also offers exclusive deals as well as presale information on U2’s 2015 concert tour. They can have special on sales of tickets, vip tickets and meet and greet tickets for their fan club members and while yes we will stock tickets for the U2 Concert in Los Angeles and all other cities the ability to get tickets at face value from the band is a great first option. Usually U2 Fan Club concert tickets are pick up at will call the night of their concert so make sure you read all the information because it can get tricky if your are buying U2 Tickets for a friend or family member and want to try and switch out the name for the will call. If you are getting U2 Vip Tickets or U2 Meet and Greet Tickets its the same thing you will have to pick up the tickets at will call with your guest and walk straight into the concert from the holding area so make sure that you are the one who is going in. I have seen numerous people get to a concert with their friends or family only to run into major problems because they were just trying to pick up the tickets and not go themselves.

U2 Tickets Meet and Greet

Although U2 hasnt done a meet and greet tickets package before but it seems now this is where the real money is for acts. Justin Bieber, Lady GAGA, Katy Perry and even Depeche Mode all offered Meet and Greet Tickets for their concerts which usually include a photo op with the band, special merchandise, seats right next to the stage and other hospitality areas away from the normal fans as well as an extremely high face value. Lady GAGA’s meet and greet package is over $3,000 per ticket face value. U2 Meet and Greet tickets could conceivably start at over $5000 per ticket.

U2 VIP Tickets

U2 VIP TICKETS

VIP Tickets

Depending on the bands concert stage set up U2 VIP Tickets seems the most likely to happen. In previous tours they have had a pit in front of the stage set up or a long catwalk extending deep into the crowd. This would allow them to offer more U2 VIP Tickets at a higher face value. If they do a pit set up the VIP Tickets could include a enclosed area around the stage, special U2 tickets, program and maybe some merchandise. U2 VIP Tickets would have a much lower face value then Meet and Greet tickets and could run anywhere from $175 a ticket on up to $1500 a ticket face value.

U2 2015

U2 Fans no matter what will have a lot to look forward to in 2015 new songs released, new album and yes a 2014 U2 Concert Tour!

KIIS FM Jingle Ball Tickets

5 Highest Grossing Concert Tours

Here are the top five touring acts of 2010. While they are all big names, you may be a bit surprised at some of the names on it.

5. The Black Eyed Peas- $81.6 million
It seems that everything that the Black Eyed Peas touches in recent years has turned to gold. Or Platinum, whatever. The Black Eyed Peas World Tour in 2010 sold out all 82 dates that they had. And everyone had a “Goodnight” (oooh hooo).

4. Lady Gaga- $116.2 million concert tour
It can be argued that Lady Gaga is the biggest star in the muscle universe today. Her 2010 Fame Monster World Tour (which is actually still going on as we speak) sold out 101 of 122 shows last year. Of course, a lot of the $116 million that she received when back into production costs (Gaga is never understated), she’s still doing pretty good for herself.

3. AC/DC- $122.6 million on their concert tour
One of the most iconic hard rock bands of the last half centuries, AC/DC‘s 2010 stadium dates found the band playing to over 1.15 million people in 28 shows. With a number “Black Ice” hitting number one recently, it can be argued that AC/DC is as popular, if not popular, then it as ever been. Purchase AC/DC Tickets today.

2. U2- $131.5 million on their concert tour
To be honest, the only reason why U2 isn’t number one on this list is because they had to cancel a full North American tour thanks to Bono’s back issues. In fact, U2 was able to make all their money with only 22 dates (and 22 sell outs). Expect the band to take up the top spot in 2011 with their rescheduled North American tour.

1. Bon Jovi- $146.5 million on their concert tour
While they may not be the flashiest or the most beloved band in rock, Bon Jovi is quite possibly the most consistent. Regardless of whether they release a new album or not, they hit the road almost every year. And their fans keeping buying tickets, with 69 sell outs in 69 dates. Though the band is going to take the next couple of years off, they will hit the road again.
