Carnage is the best seven-course meal you will ever have. Huffington Post describes it as “inspired, explosive performance. Theatre history to be witness on the stage of the Ahmanson.”

God of Carnage is about two married couples meeting to sort out a playground fight between their children. The Brooklyn couples start off well, with idle chit-chat and exchange of pleasantries, but as the liquor flows into the evening, the parents become increasingly childish and all hell breaks loose.

God of Carnage won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 2009. It also won the Best Play and Best Direction and Best Actress In A Play at the 2009 Tony Awards.

Ben Brently of the New York Times wrote: “Never underestimate the pleasure of watching really good actors behaving terribly… highly skilled stage performers take on roles that allow them to rip the stuffing out of one another, tear up the scenery, stomp on their own vanity and have the time of their lives.”
